Refunds and cancellation.

Stated up front rather than buried, so nobody is surprised later. The short version: deposits are non-refundable, the monthly cancels any time, and you keep everything either way.

Deposits are non-refundable

The 50% deposit that starts a build is non-refundable. It reserves the working time, and by the time it is spent the discovery, planning, and setup work has already been done.

This is why no deposit is ever requested before you have seen a written quote, read the agreement, and signed it. Nobody should be paying Adduco money they have not had the chance to think about.

If you cancel a build partway through

You can end the agreement in writing at any time. If you cancel after work has started but before launch:

  • The deposit is not returned.
  • A kill fee of 20% to 40% of the remaining unpaid balance applies, covering time already committed to your project. The exact percentage is written into your signed agreement.
  • Any pass-through costs already incurred on your behalf, such as a domain registration or a photography booking, are payable.
  • Once what is owed at cancellation is settled, you receive the work completed up to that point, licensed to you for use on that site. Full ownership transfers only when the whole build fee has been paid, as set out in your signed agreement.

If Adduco cannot deliver

If Adduco is the reason the project cannot be completed, any payments you have made beyond the work actually completed are refunded to you. That cuts both ways on purpose.

Cancelling the monthly plan

The monthly managed growth plan renews month to month. There is no minimum term and no early-termination penalty.

  • Cancel any time with 30 days' written notice. The paid month is completed and then work stops.
  • The final month already paid for is not refunded, because the work for it is done.
  • You keep everything: your site, your domain, your hosting, and your Google Business Profile, all already registered in your name.
  • You receive access handover and a short note on keeping things running. Nothing is held hostage.

The absence of a lock-in is deliberate. If the monthly is not earning its place, you should be able to leave, and that is only true if the paper says so.

Failed or late payments

If a monthly payment fails, you get 7 days’ notice to update the payment method before managed services pause. Nothing is deleted and your site stays online. Work simply stops until the payment is sorted.

Invoices are typically due within 7 days, and your invoice states the exact terms. Amounts unpaid after that accrue 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate the law allows, whichever is lower. Work may pause until they are settled.

Disputing a charge

If a charge looks wrong, contact Adduco before contacting your bank. Genuine billing mistakes are corrected quickly and without argument. A chargeback filed without contact takes weeks, costs both sides money, and usually resolves something that a five-minute phone call would have fixed.

Where these terms sit

This page summarizes the cancellation terms in Adduco’s standard agreements. Your own signed agreement is what governs your project, and if the two ever differ, the signed agreement wins. The general terms are on the terms of service page.
